I think he’d be fine but the parallels to this and the Anthony Rendon situation in 2019 are eerily similar to me. Only 1 year that indicates he’s worth the price and 29 years old. Main difference is he’s not a loser and i think he actually likes playing baseball
According to my sources, the #Mets have made an offer of over $160 million for a period of 7 years to Willy Adames. Their intention is for him to play third base; however, Adames is not convinced, as he prefers to continue in the shortstop position. He has not made a decision

He is legitimately the best manager in baseball and he has gotten better at his job every year. Nice to see him get the credit he deserves for his part. I look forward to people calling for his head after they lose a May road game to Colorado in 2025.

Watching this back from last night and what a moment Blake Treinen was at 37 pitches and had just put two on with one out Dave Roberts goes out to the mound to see if Treinen has it in his eyes He leaves him in... and Treinen gets outta the inning
