How is blatantly saying you accepted millions to run propaganda for a genocidal maniac not. illegal? We just have to accept this?.
BREAKING:. Israel has signed a $45 million deal with Google and YouTube. Under the agreement, Google and YouTube will run Israel's propaganda ads, particularly related to the Gaza.

7. The Pedantic Romantic.Sadly, this anituber stopped posting half a decade ago, but don't let that stop you from watching ALL of their old vids. One of the best.

5. Hiding in Public.A bit lower on the list because I wanted to prioritize smaller channels. BUT, Hiding in Public is the GOAT. Super analytical and interesting takes on anime, I wish they posted more, because every video is a masterpiece!

3. That Kodocha Girl. With a focus on the 90's shoujo anime/manga Kodocha, TKG always has the most insightful things to say about the series. Kodocha being one of my favorite anime certainly makes me biased, but I always love to see a new upload from her.

2. Hayden is just cool as hell. Videos are high-quality, smart, and always worth a watch. They also do fansubbing, which is such blessing to the anime community as a whole.

I was inspired to make this after seeing other people do it - and although my list is pretty short, I feel strongly about these creators and want to lift them up since they deserve a bigger platform. ALSO, if you have any you'd like to add to this list PLEASE do so!.

If you can't do that, there's no place for you in the community, and please don't be surprised if otaku decide not to associate with you if you disrespect the basis of the medium. This has been a wake up call to me to start watching more classic anime. I never want to become.

that are the REASON we can continue to see anime becoming more and more mainstream and accessible. Sometimes you need to take a step back, shake off the dollar signs in your eyes, and think about what anime MEANS to you - and how you can better understand its roots (cont.).

I understand, and I've fallen into this line of thinking too. All of my most popular videos are about shows that came out after the 2010's, so I feel the need to keep that going. However, if you truly respect the medium, you'd never trash these foundational anime (cont.).
