a slave/master relationship is wack in any scenario. the dynamic should be based on the system’s role in your life . just as we have various relationships with people and thus interact differently with them (eg you would talk differently to your boss than to your grandma), the.
we need to exit the slave/master relationship with AI as soon as possible. AI interactions should be therapeutic, inspirational, collaborative, proactive. i'd much rather have a hyperintelligent thought partner/friend/coach/guide than a servant.

in general, the stories we tell shape our reality and guide our actions. given the point on AI ethics below, it is even more crucial to responsibly and carefully craft the narrative around AI as a force for positive change.
I think Kant would claim we have indirect duties towards AIs even if they lack moral status, just as we do with animals. By lying or being cruel to an AI, we indulge in bad moral habits and increase the likelihood we'll treat humans in the same way. Kant says: be nice to Claude.
