I have officially decided to stop taking life so seriously. I will be doing all things from a place of whimsical childlike wonder. Thank you.

To the Chicago restaurants refusing to feed ICE, to the businesses locking their doors as ICE arrives, to the tow truck drivers taking away their vehicles... THANK YOU.

unfortunately most people assume they don't need to be worried about becoming disabled because there will be social services to help. so many friends this year have been shocked to learn there weren't immediate resources for me when I couldn't work for months because of COVID.
I’ll admit. I had no idea what happened to disabled people. I assumed they get proper care when they can’t work. That’s what we do in societies. We support those who can’t themselves. then I needed a wheelchair. I was incapable of walking safely anymore and insurance laughed.
