The world indeed lost one of the nicest and kindest person I know in the polymer community. My biggest condolences to his family and loved ones.
The world lost a great scientist, mentor, and friend today with the passing of @j_a_byers. I will always remember his support of me and the rest of the @ByersLabBC. He was never too busy to explain a difficult concept or just chat about struggles. He will be greatly missed.

(1/3) I've been debating whether to post this because I dislike social media (contemplating to quit). But I want to thank everyone who has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey. First, my deepest gratitude to the NIH for this amazing opportunity. ...

The highlighted paper shows the exceptional efforts of my team members. The design principles are intriguing (and I may find the time to summarize them in the future). If you have any queries, feel free to contact me via email or DM. https://t.co/oFFsZdjUWG

Short thread on Covid and respiratory support. There are numerous grifters, and serious academics, out there who seem to think if the fatality stats are not that bad, then Covid is no big deal.
