Imagine if Texas won against Ohio State and lost to Florida. They would rightfully get benefit of the doubt unlike Vandy. The games are high risk high reward, that’s why you play them.

The SEC could literally put ten teams in the playoffs and as long as Ohio State and Indiana are on opposite sides of the bracket they won’t have a sec team in the national championship for the third consecutive year.
