Having your stuff go viral is crazy, because you get tons of job offers without applying. Recruiters will cold email you. The best one I've got so far is from a US based AI & robotics company. Their listed pay was 100k–300K USD for a hardware engineer. I had to decline all.

Setup update. Just realised that I’ve slowly invested over 7000$ on this💀. Next addition will probably be a 32 inch 4K OLED monitor, or, maybe I’ll end up switching to VR for work.

This is 100% true. I learned everything from the internet and gained experience from hackathons and doing projects. I'd emphasize doing good projects and posting it, because that's what got me some insane job offers despite being from a random ass college.
your university is not the only place to find people to learn from or get exposure. go out, hackathons, meetups, twitter spaces, & youtube dot com is literally free. if your uni is your excuse for not being skilled enough for the job market then it’s a you problem not your uni.
