what i keep coming back to is this stuff is the natural result of a socialist becoming mayor on a platform he needs an adversarial establishment to help deliver. by running zohran for mayor, we accepted—whether we understood it or not—that he would compromise.

This is misleading and irresponsible. Unlike what Kate implies here, both Shahana and Chi were endorsed by Open NY in 2025. Both are committed socialists and will strengthen our movement. Vote yes to Shahana and Chi!
I voted YES on Chi and no on Shahana joining SIO’s. I like her, I respect her, I voted for her to be my CM, but I want DSA 10k miles away from Open New York, a real estate lobby org she is close to. I want DSA aligned w/ NYC’s tenant movement not developers. My one concern.
