Got brought up on a diet of 50’s rock and roll from my parents. Still mildly in awe of the simplicity yet brilliance of Buddy Holly’s pop songs. The only other act I compare him to for being so simple yet brilliant was Nirvana. Bass, drums, a guitar = people dancing.
