Exact same is relevant for gas/fuel markets in real life. It’d be great to be able to pay a monthly subscription [loaning capital required to maintain margin on a position] to lock a fuel price in 12-24 months into the future.
We need a good trustless onchain gas futures market. (Like, a prediction market on the BASEFEE) I've heard people ask: "today fees are low, but what about in 2 years? You say they'll stay low because of increasing gaslimit from BAL + ePBS + later ZK-EVM, but do I believe you?"

Without being overly optimistic it’s only a matter of time before we/AI find a way to fund this infrastructure in a more sophisticated fashion — it’s lovely to see a light put on @session_app developed by some Aussies.
