In Finland, Game recruiters try to get experts to do 6 months "expert training" so that firms free get professional labour. The " expert trainee" gets extra unemployment benefits... and no guarantee of a job at the end.

My favourite ones are who email you or LinkedIn message you with a number of roles "you'd be perfect for" but have clearly taken no time to read your profile or CV or looked into what your current salary might be. Then chase you when you don't reply 😂😂

For that matter, when the job pays minimum wage and they ask you to drop in a CV.
Employers act as though they are doing you a favour.
Job - n: Any activity that someone doesn't want to do so badly they are willing to pay someone else to do it.

Fascinating conversation. My wife is currently in BI and works on the backend as well as designing the reports for users. If recruiters have questionable skill and ethics how does a person get some consultation on what jobs are available and what additional skill sets to get?
