Yes, so are we @MindCharity 😔.
Am growing increasingly concerned that the government is about to take a backward step on mental health which will do further damage to its standing and more importantly damage care for people in need. The mental health sector was desperate for a change of government because.

Important insights @PeterWanless about the reality for our children. Austerity and online harms hurt our kids, yet it’s virtually impossible to get real action, that’s why civil society must keep going and not hide away from the hard truths!.
Wow. @PeterWanless is off the leash and I am so here for it 👏👏

Don’t even get me started on the ridiculous question I keep seeing ‘why didn’t they speak sooner’! Bore off with this nonsense, if you don’t know by now why then I suggest you might be the problem! Fix up people, fix up! 😡.
The implication that ‘middle class women’ are having a go at a working class bloke is wild. This statement is oozing with misogyny & classism that only serves to reveal an audacity and entitlement that is deeply worrying! Wow 😠.

The scrutiny at this stage has been limited, so it’s important the next round goes even further & deeper. We @mindcharity have questions as do many advocacy groups. We urge government to listen carefully & remember that this conversation is not happening on equal ground.

It’s important to remember that the #AssistedDyingBill has a long way to go before it could become legislation. Media outlets must be careful & clear. There are many steps & questions to be answered. The public must have time to have their say & there is scope still to do that.
