It's genuinely hilarious to me that most people can't have a debate without name-calling or belittling. I immediately discredit anything you have to say if you can't have an adult conversation.

This is an excellent, fact-based point. Thank you for the correction. So my hypothetical wasn't so hypothetical after all. Which leads to the bigger question for everyone, regardless of party:. How comfortable are we with the government building a massive, interconnected.

This happens because the incentives are broken. Outrage gets more clicks than compromise. Fundraising emails need a villain more than they need a solution. 📨 . The entire system rewards politicians for fighting about problems rather than for solving them.
