Michael Kuhl, professor in industrial and systems engineering, was recently honored with the INFORMS Simulation Society (I-Sim) Distinguished Service Award at the society’s recent Winter Simulation Conference (WSC). He was recognized for his service to the simulation community.

Stephen Polly, operations manager for RIT's Semiconductor Nanofabrication Lab, has been named director of RIT’s NanoPower Research Lab, where he will guide cutting-edge research in energy, photonics, and optoelectronics and lead the lab into its next phase of innovation.
