This week marked another milestone for Africa's humble servant - beans🫘. #PABRA met @AGRA_Africa new Director of the Center of Excellence for #SeedSystems, Evelyn Lusenaka to scale inclusive, demand-led seed innovations with ICM, finance & digital platforms across 7 countries.

Our Director @JcRubyogo joined a high-level roundtable hosted by @CanHCKenya & HC @JoshuaTabah in Nairobi🇰🇪 to explore new Canada–Africa agriculture partnerships. From inoculant tech to bean markets, the message was clear: #Beans+ nitrogen fixation= 📈trade & climate resilience.

Innovation is taking root in the #Bean 🫘 fields of eastern Uganda. 🤖 The AI-powered Tumaini Bean App is helping farmers spot infections instantly thru real-time predictions. Extension workers & lead farmers were recently trained to use this game-changing tool. #TumainiApp

With @rainbowhealthf1, we moved thru 5 districts in Rwanda’s Western Province—where stunting stands at 37%. Here we met families hungry for change: 8,000+ reached, 40 Nutrition Agents trained, 1,339 homes surveyed, 635 kg of high-iron bean🫘 flour ($1,000) sold. Hope travels fast
