Some wounds don’t heal overnight. But that doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human. Breathe through it. Take your time. Healing isn’t a race. One gentle step at a time is more than enough.

I think from now on we really need to educate people and update our syllabus with earthquake preparedness and safety measures. No more ‘Malaysia is safe from earthquakes’ mindset. Even if the magnitudes we see now are weaker, we should still prepare ourselves for the worst.

Pain reminds us we’re not in control. It humbles us. And it also reminds us, we’re not alone. Allah sees every silent tear. He’s already written the ease, even if you can’t feel it yet. Pain is a call to return to Him. He’s closer than your jugular vein.

We don’t all walk through the same storm. Some have umbrellas, some have rooftops, some only their own skin. This is why compassion matters: you’ll never know the weight of another’s rain until you’ve stood in it yourself.

Disappointment is not always a bad thing. When something we dislike happens, we think it’s a mistake. We get upset. We forget that the Almighty is in control. He sees and knows things we don’t. The bigger picture will emerge soon and we will thank Him for His infinite wisdom.
