#Carers voice: Still so very proud of this! If you want to reflect or read about my experiences as a mental health carer check this out ā¬‡ļø it also prompts thought about our #MentalHealth system #SocialWork.

Call me cynical maybe šŸ¤” but to me seeing peoples money as a resource and getting them to spend it is not what #StrenghtsBased practice in #SocialWork is or should be? Too often organisations take language/an ideology and use it as they see fit, diluting meaning!.

The Prime Minister's views on mental health and work are not based on robust evidence. His statements could lead to policies and practices that do more harm than good.

Don’t even know where to begin with #SickNoteCulture but I’m FURIOUS 😔 just another way to further discriminate against those with #Disabilities. Being in work is a privilege - not everyone can, no matter how much shame the government tries to bestow on people!.

Whilst not primary research, I was lucky enough to share my #LivingExperience within @BJofSW and being at the @MPFTResearch conference today, it’s made me reflect on the importance of sharing all types of knowledge! #MentalHealth #CareAct #SocialWork

Sadly not surprising! For a profession that preaches the importance of connection, supervision and legislation the underpins wellbeing, in practice it is so hard to find! More research which leads to meaningful change is needed! #SocialWork.

Love when they’re open access. ā€œSocial workers employed in an understaffed and overburdened environment are at higher risk of experiencing burnout, psychopathology and other mental health problems (McFadden et al., 2015; Ravalier et al., 2021; Griffiths et al. 2023)ā€ interesting.

Such an interesting article about #NQSWs in Wales Whilst in England the requirements are different, there is definitely challenges regarding support/wider systemic issues I think! #SocialWork.
