Call me cynical maybe š¤ but to me seeing peoples money as a resource and getting them to spend it is not what #StrenghtsBased practice in #SocialWork is or should be? Too often organisations take language/an ideology and use it as they see fit, diluting meaning!.

Donāt even know where to begin with #SickNoteCulture but Iām FURIOUS š” just another way to further discriminate against those with #Disabilities. Being in work is a privilege - not everyone can, no matter how much shame the government tries to bestow on people!.

Sadly not surprising! For a profession that preaches the importance of connection, supervision and legislation the underpins wellbeing, in practice it is so hard to find! More research which leads to meaningful change is needed! #SocialWork.
