Some mussels tempt fish w/ tiny lures that mimic worms, snails, eggs etc — then CLAMP onto the fish like an underwater Venus flytrap as they spray their larvae into its gills. E. capsaeformis catches a darter. 📹C Barnhart HT @kueda.
