Year 5 took part in a wonderful @_InspireScience session today, combining scientific techniques with our @InspireHistory topic of Crime and Punishment. They tested soil samples and conducted a chromatography experiment to identify the biscuit thief!

In @_InspireScience today we learnt about plants and what they need to survive! π±πͺ΄ We learnt they need the right temperature, water and sunlight! π‘οΈπ§βοΈ We set up an experiment to see how changing these conditions might alter the plants chances of survival! @Inspire_Ashton

In our second @teach_rex session we used a green screen to create some dinosaur movies - how cool! We then met a baby T-rex, spinosaurus & pteranodon and got to pet them β€οΈ what a wonderful way to bring our Dinosaurs and Extinction topic to life! @_InspireScience @Inspire_Ashton
