We had an oracy focus in our English lesson today. We used sentences to describe our animal to our Kagan team to see if they could guess what we were holding. I heard some great descriptions of some tricky animals. Great work Year 1. @Inspire_Ashton @_InspireEnglish

We may be year 6 but we still love a cut and stick activity. Today, weβve talked about verb phrases and phrasal verbs. Our SPaG knowledge is getting stronger every day and weβre enjoying our new way of doing English. @Inspire_Ashton @TrustVictorious @Grammarsaurus1 #pvpg

In @_InspireEnglish, 5B have been exploring abstract nouns and how to differentiate them from adjectives. For example, happiness vs happy. They worked collaboratively and grew in confidence during the lesson.
