I look at it from the law perspective. You make a claim and I don’t accept your claim. You are then asked to provide evidence as the burden of proof is on you, you try but you can’t prove anything. Just assumptions and speculation. Case dismissed.

Atheism makes no claim, whereas people who claim there is a God do. So the burden of proof is and always has been with you, not the doubter. Prove there are Gods, and really try. Not because the Bible says so, or the evidence is around you. I want proof that I cannot dispute.

‘The lack of reality of atheism’ The alternative reality to this is believing in Jesus, who’s also God, so his own father, who died (not really, only kidding, I’m back) for man’s sin. Yet apparently we still get judged for sin, despite God loving his flock, except gay people.

Buddhism has doctrines, the four noble truths. Atheism has none of this. It’s a lack of belief. That’s all it is. Do. You. Understand??
Buddhism also doesn't have a deity at the center. Wicca doesn't have a deity at its center. Jainism had no deity at its center. The fact that atheism de-emphasizes God or gods doesn't mean that it isn't dogmatic or based on faith in an unprovable point.

Atheism is the lack of belief in God/s. There’s no cause, no worship, no book, no claims, no prophets, no messiah, no sins, no afterlife, no praying, no demons, no deities and no faith or belief. So by default, not a religion. Try tackling a subject you know something about.
By the way: In many ways, Atheism, as practiced by the Sam Harris cultists and Penn & Teller acolytes, is a religion. As with Buddha, atheism has all the dogma of any religion without a deity at its center. So, to be honest, most everyone in America is religious in some way.
