Very senior Labour MPs, some v recently ousted, are offering positions to other Labour MPs who'll back them. Some whose seats are in danger are even looking at buying properties in 'Southern' constituencies they've never even set foot in before. Good luck with that plan...😉
It isn't possible to overstate the level of political danger Keir Starmer is now facing. May's elections are suddenly a very, very long way off.

Righto folks, this week’s #FF is @GarethLyon1688 (spot a bit of tory whiggism there I’ll have you know). He’s now got a perch at @Policy_Exchange to chat about health issues, & as someone I’ve known for a million years, is well worth a follow.

Yes, you can make Monty Python gags until the cows come home about “Your Party” as an outfit, but it’s also true this bloke was always the sharpest & least doctrinaire of its original supporters.
After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to step out of the steering process for Your Party. I wish those who continue to work on this endeavour the very best of luck and hope their hard work achieves the results they desire.

I looked at a union memorial in Appalachia, this week. It is important to remember that - whatever you think of their corrupt and lard-assed prey descendants - the original labor, civil rights, and (Wave 1-2.5) feminist movements really did take on a brutal society and make it

“to the dread rattling thunder Have I given fire, and rifted Jove’s stout oak With his own bolt; the strong-based promontory Have I made shake, and by the spurs plucked up The pine and cedar; graves at my command Have waked their sleepers, oped, and let ’em forth By my so

Only 3% of the public can distinguish between music written by a human and an AI. This isn't because AI writes good music, it's because algorithms have been screening and editing music for decades. To beat AI, bring back musical creativity.

Kilbirnie might be thought of as a relatively unlikely place, and the Church of Scotland a relatively unlikely denomination to have such an unusually opulent church, but Scotland is full of brilliant buildings like this. We need to find ways to preserve and re-purpose them.
One of the oldest churches in Scotland is up for sale. Kilbirnie Old Kirk in Ayrshire was built in 1490 on the site of an older monastic cell. The local trust needs £70K to purchase it for the community. Its Renaissance style interior is stunning. Donations welcome….👇👇👇

Three Darlington nurses interviewed on the BBC National News at 10. It is interesting what a memo can do, eh?

If Wes Streeting wanted to, he could hand this to Keir Starmer.
