most of my life i don’t hang out with gamers. only recently. im always shocked how many gamers i meet who dont read books, listen to music, watch a variety of films, or even TV. learning these other mediums enriches my appreciation for games but also helps me understand its
crucially, I think a lot of people into games need to explore other mediums and expand their horizons. it’s hard to get a critical sense for games, a medium that combines so many other artforms, if you haven’t familiarized yourself with anything else

My friend and I did a quick Death Stranding 2 Cosplay at San Diego Comic Con. She made custom stencils off key art and made a pizza box for it!

by allowing the player to customize both couples and then making sure their love story plays out beat by beat, I think the game could pull off a level of empathy in the story in only ways a game can. It’s inspiring: it might actually shift culture

Something I enjoyed in the new GTA 6 trailer: the devs absolutely want you to fall in love with Lucia and empathize with the couple. It’ll be interesting to see if they could melt the hearts of the same fools who would call her inclusion in the game as “woke”
For me, one of my biggest anticipations for GTA 6's story, is how awesome it is to be in love with a woman - something that was really cool when I was growing up.

Some comments on here are claiming this is “underwhelming”, while my helldivers discord server is hyped. my friends often duel large enemies with the entrenchment tool like it’s Elden Ring, we’ve role played Napoleonic era combat. This is going to be a fun and hysterical release

Foley is sonic cosplay. we break down the clothing, props, and shoes of the character: and then portray them in the world or the story. I say “weaponized asmr” to describe the effect of Foley but in the craft, we are sonically dressing the character. And then, walking the runway
