People’s aversion to synthetics is leading them to some really dumb conclusions. I saw someone say they won’t buy a fleece jacket because it’s polyester. But fleece in this case is superior to wool because dries quickly, holds almost no water, and stays warm even when wet.

I think at a certain point you just need to let go of control with regard to purity living in high tech industrial globalized society. Make some strides, try your best, but don't go nuts over it.
I’ve spent $100K on “natural clothes” only to realize that they don’t really exist - Merino wool is all superwashed (coated with plastic fibers) - Dyes are all toxic (unless it says “plant dyed”) - The clothing “certifications” are scams (sellers pay once, no regular checks) -
