Dana Zzyym, who is intersex and nonbinary, has been on a quest for a U.S. passport for 5 years. The 10th Circuit sent the case back to the beginning with the state department, who originally denied Dana any option besides checking "male" or "female."

The crisis on the #NavajoNation is hundreds of years in the making, dating back to the ethnic cleansing policies of Abraham Lincoln. But the US thinks these problems can be solved w/ charity rather than dealing justly w/ the Doctrine of Discovery & our country's genocidal history

I cannot thank @MiraPagliNair enough for making this most GORGEOUS and SENSUAL film of all, ‘KAMA SUTRA A Tale of Love’ - it is SO GOOD and one of my top flick picks of all time. No shame it’s a VHS & I paid $14.95 probably from defunct #TowerRecords. MORE of Mira Nair, PLEASE!

Ads claiming thatSusan Collins wrote the Paycheck Protection Program Act are wildly exaggerated. She has to go.

I am so excited to have won a #GracieAward today! The Gracie Awards honor excellence in media by @AllWomeninMedia. My #WomensWellnessDisruptHERS series on @3rdHourTODAY was meant to be informative and inspiring, and I truly feel like it was more than that to so many.

When Alice and I were lost and wounded, @MeredthSalenger stepped up and elevated us to the level of grace and beauty she lives in every moment of her life. Happy Mother’s Day baby. We love you.

I miss you, mummy, every day. So much to talk about, so much to say. But at the end of the day it all boils down to this: I miss you, I love you and I thank you for paving the way in every way. Not a day, mummy, not a day. ❤️ #HappyMothersDay

Today would have been #AhmaudArbery's 26th birthday. A senseless tragedy that every one of us should take personally. I didn't know know Ahmaud, but my heart grieves for his family, his friends, and for our country. We are better than this. We must do better. #IrunwithMaud

Black people are the litmus test for justice. If Black people continue to suffer from violence and injustice, none of us in this country will ever know freedom or peace. #blacklivesmatter #blacktranslivesmatter #endintersexsurgery #JusticeForAhmaud

This nation may be in denial about these acts of white terrorism, but I am not. White supremacist violence is real, deadly and does not respect my personhood or my body.

All they could do is recall their own experiences of field research encountering rural white men with guns as a way of relating and I knew in my heart that wasn't the same. I resigned.

My supervisors at the time, white women, could not understand the gravity of what I had gone through even when I asked them, what are their protections for Black workers in a time of heightened and violent white supremacy?

He continued to follow me but was caught by a red light and that is the only thing that saved me. I drove home shaken. I called two therapist homies who listened to me as I recalled this experience, shaken, exhausted and crying. Black people saved my life once again.

I knew that if this white man killed me, no one would know what happened. I kept driving on this two-lane road with this man behind me. In the middle of the road, I flipped a U-turn and drove in the other direction.

He followed me. Wherever I was I couldn't get a signal to call my boss and I damn sure wasn't about to call the police. He followed me for what felt like hours. This is the closest in my life that I have ever felt to death.

Judging by his hostility, I got in my car and left. I parked up the road to gather my things and he pulls up next to me and says, "You are still on my property and I need you to leave." Without a word, I was like, "Not a problem and left."
