Excellent article explaining omission bias and reference dependence in relation to vaccines and risk. Maybe if people were better informed about such cognitive biases & how these can affect our perception of risk of an action vs inaction this would decrease vaccine hesitancy

We are seeing patients admitted to ICU with #COVID well after shot 1 and before shot 2. One isn't vaccinated until fully vaccinated. Given the significant delay between shots 1 & 2, clear communication on how to conduct oneself b/w shots from public health leaders would help.
