For whatever reason, senior leadership in Policing often seems to become toxic and difficult. This isnโ€™t the first bullying claim against senior officers. Itโ€™s like they get some kind of superiority complex and then start fighting with one and other to prove they are important.

How (and why) do people read anything on these "news" sites. It's literally just a screen full of ads, with single sentences of 'story' in between (and most of the time, it's click-bait nonsense anyway, not actual news).

A few London councils, with shared IT services, currently dealing with a โ€œcyber security incidentโ€. No firm details yet, but one to watch to see if anything comes from this in the coming days, firstly threat intel and IOCs, secondly for lessons learned.

This is a developing story, and again highlights how much of the internet relies on a few key infrastructure providers. Many organisations will be monitoring this closely. Stay up to date: https://t.co/GAoySCtOgt #AWS

I don't know the full details of what has caused todays incident, but Amazon said in one of its updates earlier that the issue "appears to be related to DNS resolution of the DynamoDB API endpoint in US-EAST-1".

As you will all know, AWS provides the cloud computing services that power many popular websites, apps, and platforms. This outage appears to be worldwide, with reports of services like Signal, Snapchat, Roblox and more being affected... Roblox offline during the Scottish school

Instagram just introduced a โ€œshare your location with friendsโ€ feature. Itโ€™s an interactive map where you can see real time locations of people you follow, and they can see where you are too. How is that a good idea? Why would anyone enable that? I know apps like apples
