I've been turned down for jobs for being disabled. I've had promotions taken away for being disabled. I've had job interviews end the moment I walk in because I use a mobility device. HELL a non-profit aimed to help disabled people find jobs told me I was too disabled to help.

The average one-bedroom apartment where I live is over $2100. OW gives $343 if you're single and homeless. There is an expectation that you can find housing for $390 if you are single. If you are disabled, that amount goes up to $582. ..... So basically don't be poor.

It won't even cover inflation on groceries. It won't stop CAS from kidnapping children of disabled parents
