My Ph.D. defense is finally here! It was really challenging to bridge the vast subjects covered in my study - from unicellular microbes to their associated host. Nevertheless, we were able to understand from a more holistic perspective of microbial dynamics in changing oceans.

#seagrass #conservation & #restoration can be used as #blueCarbon projects to offset #CO2 emissions. However, quantification and translation to #carbon credits is complex and expensive, and needs more collaboration between scientists, public and private sectors. Daniel Friess
