Like I tell my guys in BAIL tech, if you keep that low shoulder down (the one towards the WR) you create a more efficient break & transition because of body position

Place your elbow in the WR's armpit & drive through his hip (look & lean)
Notice how the DB holds the top shoulder, then places his Rt elbow in the WR's armpit

Base rule is to set the 5t to the most WR side, but you can mix & match depending on the offense being faced.

Too far inside & you are blind (see below)
Too far outside & you can give up the Post
DB has to work to the midpoint to inhibit a free release, but also for the ability to lean (Fade) or drive inside (Post)

The two EDGES allow the defense to keep a better pass rush than the traditional Tite Front (404) & lower the reliance on edge pressure (Blitz-to-Bear).
