Emaad, tell me-what does this emblem really achieve at Hazratbal? Isn’t it just the state’s desperate stamp on a sacred space that already carries a power no emblem can tame? Does Hazratbal not expose the fragility of sovereignty itself?
Defacing the Ashoka Emblem at Hazratbal Shrine’s foundation stone is no stray act of vandalism. It is a calculated affront to India’s sovereignty and national pride, an assault on the very emblem that embodies the spirit and dignity of the Republic.
