Chief Justin Lammers and Cpt. Larry Trpkovski thanked John Hamilton, clinical deployment specialist with @zollemsfire, by presenting him with an Essex-Windsor EMS service coin. John spent 5 weeks preparing our team to deploy new ZOLL cardiac monitors and did an outstanding job!

You can't improve what you don't measure. Very excited to launch our CPR quality metrics project @UnityHealthTO tracking our CPR performance led by @garrick_mok & supported by @MedicalZoll We're now using this data to guide our post-arrest debriefings. Data trumps guessing.

Dr. Huyer says we are seeing something new in the 3rd wave. People getting sick and dying at home. Death comes so quickly hospitalization doesn't happen. This is being seen even in younger patients in their 30's.

Even in world wars, soldiers get rotated out of the front line for R and R. This is a real humane as well as a human factors issue. There needs to be a strategy for respite for those on the health care front line.

Hey Ontario and BC Paramedics. The COVID-19 Immunity Task Force wants to study your blood to determine how many Paramedics have developed antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19 and how long these antibodies last. Looking for 2,500 from each province. https://t.co/di3SQqtIVg
