Happening now. Launch of the National Food Safety Strategy. The @euinzim funded SAFE project worked with @MoHCCZim to develop the strategy. The strategy focuses on lessening the burden of foodborne diseases & highlights the role each stakeholder plays in public health.

Under the @euinzim-funded @zagpbest, we worked with @MoLAFWRD_Zim, training farmers on the urea treatment of maize stover. The feed formulation practice makes stover more palatable & nutritious for livestock. It's essential this year with the risk of El Nino & scarce grazing.

The East Pork Producers Cooperatives (EPPC) an entity est'd by @zagpgoatsandpigs, commenced collective marketing. In 1& 1/2 months of trading, 5499kgs of porkers sold by 6 farmers generated $17068. The infant initiative promises to present better market options for farmers.
