Addressing to bed shortage at Chivhu Gen Hosp Minister Mombeshora informed that a new 22 bed mini-Hospital will be opened soon at Manhize to cater for the Dinson mine employees. This facility will help decongest Chivhu GH & improve access and quality of care. #healthforall

During an impromptu visit at Chivhu Gen Hosp recently @MoHCC Dr. D Mombeshora pledged to ensure that the facility's nursing school would be capacitated to recruit a bigger number of nursing students by September. Currently the facility is recruiting 10 students. #HealthForAll

INFLUENZA/COMMON COLD.@MoHCCZim Weekly Disease Surveillance Report for the Week ending 26 June2025, 12 677 suspected influenza cases and no deaths were reported this week. The provinces that reported the highest number of suspected influenza cases were Mashonaland West (4 435).

DOG BITES.@MoHCCZim Weekly Disease Surveillance Report for the Week ending 26 June 2025, 458 dog bite cases and no deaths were reported this week. Of the reported cases, 97 (21.2%) were bitten by vaccinated dogs, 97 (21.2%) by unvaccinated dogs and 264 (57.6%).
