Malaria claims 131 deaths The cumulative figures for malaria are 135 585 and 131 deaths. A total 201 malaria outbreaks have been reported throughout the country mostly from malarious provinces such as Manicaland, Masvingo and Mash East. 90 outbreaks have been controlled.

This is a Gene Expert Machine (plus cartridge) which would be used for COVID-19 testing in addition to the PCR machines, in a bid to scale up testing. The country has a total of 167 Gene Expert machines, 132 of which are housed in public health institutions.
