✨Delightful 👻 ‘ghost-door’, dated 1627 in the spandrel - at Conistone in the Yorkshire Dales. The patterns reminiscent of the protective daisy wheels🛞 that are often seen around openings.

Tucked away behind a row of shops are the remains of the oldest house in York. The Norman House dates back to the 12thC and is a rare surviving example of secular Norman architecture in England. Two storeys high and built of limestone, it will have belonged to a prosperous
