@Seantzizl @HPluckrose @RichardDawkins @ConceptualJames @PitchstoneBooks @_SwiftPress Richard Dawkins needs to stop bashing the religious and look at his own house -- i.e., Western STEM academia. It is being corrupted by far Left Ideologues who cannot understand disparity does not imply discrimination.

Cancel Culture exists because academics have stayed too cowardly for too long already. By now, the cost is indeed high -- losing a job is no fun at all (I've gone through it before) -- but we need to speak out for the Higher Purpose(s) of Freedom of Expression/Conscience/Inquiry.

Teachers? If you are feeling intimidated into silence, listen up: the longer you wait to express your opinion, the harder the road ahead will be. Paul Rossi spoke up. Surely he is not the only one who is upset. via @nypmetro

@ConceptualJames James: Has radical feminism affected Mathematics? It has definitely corrupted (astro)physics. I worry about the integrity of our fields, when the ideology of radical feminism becomes the mainstream culture -- all in the name of "diversity and inclusion".

Even physicists have failed to recognize the scientific validity of Damore's memo. The first salvo on Twitter, that triggered the first of the two far Left Particles for Justice petitions (signed by thousands), compared Strumia's talk at CERN to Damore's memo.

DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, Equity) is now the de facto Official Religion of not only America's Academia, but also its Federal Government.

This is why I worry about the Woke Religion corrupting Singapore, where English is its de facto first language.

@RealYeyoZa The cultural imperialism of dumb American ideas is a major global problem. Freeman Dyson worried back in the 1970s about the dangers of a global monolanguage like English.

@Amro_Hussien @NobelPrize Disparity (M:F not equal to 1:1) does not imply discrimination. Other factors need to be considered. In STEM, it is unlikely that the Nobel M:F ration will ever approach 1:1. M v F interests, career choices, higher male variability, etc. play crucial roles; not discrimination.

Similar nonsense, from physicists: "We must ... challenge the notion of the meritocracy whereby “objective and neutral” criteria infused with systemic racism are used to exclude Black people from physics and other academic disciplines..." --PfJ

@KareemRifai Students are conferred way too much power by the admin these days. Admin needs to be held accountable.
