I'm not sure what argument you believe you are making but it in no manner discredits Saint Matthew 16:16-19 in what was explicitly declared and covenantal from Logos Himself.

Also, he constantly says “You” in Matthew 24, as in the events would happen to the disciples, Matthew 23:9 for example.
