Firefighters at Rushmoor Fire Station in Lynchford Road, Farnborough, are holding a fundraising car wash tomorrow (Saturday, 29 April) with all proceeds going to The Firefighters Charity. If your car needs a clean – or even if it doesn’t 😉 – pop in anytime between 10am and 3pm!

At last nights drill night Development firefighters took part in a HAZMAT drill using GTS (gas tight suits) to locate and rescue a casualty, aswell as locate and isolate a chemical spill. We then went on the ladder drills and a combined drill in preparation for final drills.

1/2 Yesterday I passed my final drills as a Development Firefighter and have now been signed off as a Competent Firefighter 👨🏻🚒 18 months of hard work to get to this point but it’s only the beginning! So much to learn over my career and I can’t wait!
