I created the music in Plants vs. Zombies with the specific intention of it being dynamic. Instruments gradually appear to match the intensity of zombies & prevent audio fatigue. Replanted Level 1-1: ALL THE DRUMS RIGHT AWAY Years later + bigger team -> dynamic audio gone? π

I just finished Yooka-Replaylee 100% all collectibles, tonics, cosmetics & achievements. The fact this game stood out so much less than 3 months after Nintendo dropped DK Bananza is a testament to the quality job @PlaytonicGames did on this remake Canβt wait for Twooka-Laylee!

So from what I can see, main assets in the game such as the plants and zombies are not ai upscaled. Some UI assets and preview images are evidently upscaled. They used upscaling to cut corners and to try and keep stuff 'hd' Very lazy honestly.
