Just a year ago, Maj Fontaine-Thompson completed his first triathlon to lose weight and challenge himself. He's since shed 59kg and completed six Sprint Triathlons! This will be his first Olympic distance event, double what he's done before.

This Olympic-distance triathlon is a massive challenge: a 1.5km swim in Royal Victoria Dock, a 40km cycle past iconic landmarks like Big Ben and Tower Bridge, and a 10km run through the Docklands.
