(4) In Sussex we work closely with @sussex_police and @barnardos on Project SOLAH (Safer Online at Home) which supports children and families with support focusing on online safety. Through this project we offer safeguarding advice and education sessions on staying safe online.

(3) Whilst the bill is a good first step, legislation alone is not enough to keep children safe, and there needs to be more education and awareness raising for children, parent carers and professionals on how to stay safe online.

(2) We believe that the Online Safety Bill is a good first step, it covers a range of harmful content that significantly impacts children and young people. We know that children and young people lead digital lives and so it is important that there are rules in place for safety.
