Imagine claiming that the Popes used to worship Satan but also claiming that Sedes aren't Christian. And then blocking someone for pointing out the contradiction. It's too bad, because I like Anthony & had even thought better of it and deleted my post. But probably for the best.

Did God command mass slaughter in the Old Testament? Addressing a popular objection with the explanation of St. Thomas:
@RichardBSpencer Richard, on that last point, that God commanded mass slaughter, there is 1) important missing content and 2) the insinuation of injustice. Both will be addressed: 1) Life, itself, is a gift from God and something that is not owed to man. We are His creation after all. God,

I urge Heads of State and the leaders of nations to listen to the cry of the poorest. There can be no peace without justice. The poor remind us of this in many ways, through migration as well as through their cries, which are often stifled by the myth of well-being and progress,

These excerpts are taken from a very lengthy section of his book wherein St. Epiphanius refutes Origen's attacks on the literal historicity of Genesis, concluding with one of the coldest lines of the Patristic age: "For Origen will not stand with us on the day of judgment."
