I think this is probably a good idea. Every year on All Souls’ Day I pray for a particular person who I felt wronged me in their life. I pray God doesn’t hold my grievances with this person against them.
Potential thesis for an All Souls' Day Homily: "You all better be praying for the poor souls in purgatory today, because you are probably the reason why some of them are in there." Too strong?
