I think ur confusion stems from the common misconception that pwASPD commit crime without justification. There is often justification, it’s just antisocial in nature. Most people with ASPD don’t commit crimes just because.

W more heinousthings like rape, pedophilia, domestic violence etc. not only do I find those things disgusting (as in they don’t align w my moral compass), I and many others with ASPD don’t believe in harming innocent people.

I shoplift every so often, drugs, whatever but I don’t do more major things. Not bc I’m afraid of potential legal consequences but bc I just don’t want to. It’s just not something I would do.

People with ASPD are typically exclusively internally motivated rather than externally. Societal concepts or right and wrong simply don’t register to many of us.

I couldn’t comprehend why she was stressing over it because the people it was supposed to go to are already rich. Then she straight up told me I probably wasnt the right person to ask bc my brain doesn’t work the same as others and she eventually returned it to the person.

Delivered to. She was having an entire moral crisis over it bc she does need the money but because it’s illegal she thought it was wrong to keep it. I told keep it because it’s been 3 years and to that person it most likely just got lost.

Like as a personal example that happened recently. My mom went thru her junk drawer and found mail that had accidentally been delivered Hero our house in 2022. It was a birthday card w $200 in it and my mom asked if she should keep it or give it to the person it was meant to be +.

A lot of people who don’t end up in some sort of long term confinement typically have their moral compass align with laws naturally. Like not every person with ASPD is gonna go to jail for murder, not because they see all murder sus inherently immoral due to legality, but bc its.

For me personally, when I say I “don’t care for the law” it doesnt mean I don’t follow them, it typically means I don’t mind breaking them. As in I see no issue with breaking certain laws bc their laws. A lot of people have the mindset of “x is bad bc it’s illegal”. I do not.
