The 2017 vintage is a warm year that will require a very poor hand to make an under-ripe Amarone della Valpolicella. With plenty of richness in the wines, will there still be finesse in the mix?

If you are unvaccinated, at least have the balls to own it, and not try to lie your way through safety protocols designed to protect you and others, with a screenshot.
Pro tip for all our F&B friends: From tomorrow, some anti-vax mooks might try to pull a fast one by screenshotting friends’ TT app to bluff that they’re vaxxed (the irony). Make them press the refresh button. It’s a new feature! If nothing happens, they’re showing u a screenshot.

My opinion is that Valpolicella Superiore should stay the way it is. Leave appassimento to Amarone, Recioto (and Ripasso). There is a market for fresher wines, and it doesn't make sense to cannibalize product categories. #vs2021

Canada is the biggest export market for Valpolicella and Ripasso... But accounts for only 10% of Amarone export. Does that mean Canadians prefer fresher lighter style of wines? #vs2021

JC Viens: "Small wineries take a very balance approach towards producing Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone products." Medium-to-large wineries are more vested in Ripasso production. #vs2021
