Right before the holidays, Republicans keep looking for sneaky ways to sell off our public lands and national parks – this time as an amendment to the Interior appropriations bill. We stopped them before, and we’re ready to do it again. OUR PUBLIC LANDS ARE NOT FOR SALE.

I applaud @WstrnPriorities' focus on this nom. The BLM plays a key role in protecting Utah's millions of acres of public land. We can't turn the agency over to an antagonistic leader. On day one in DC, I'll co-sponsor the America's Red Rock Wilderness Act. https://t.co/CSeS97uzsl

Americans need a real steward for our public lands. Steve Pearce, Trump’s pick to lead the BLM, isn’t one. He opposed environmental protections and pushed to sell public lands when he was in Congress. Our public lands are NEVER for sale. I'm a NO on his nomination.

If it walks like a duck…  Steve Pearce has advocated for selling off our public lands. He should be nowhere near the Bureau of Land Management, the agency that oversees our federal lands.
