Update: He’s been calling her all night,came to her house several times trying to say he was just mad she emasculated him & he’s sorry. She said that’s not who she thought he was, they could’ve discussed it like adults instead of him being all angry about it. It’s over for her.

I constantly ran into this when I was young and friendly. You smiled at me, you led me on to think you liked me. You answered the phone when I called, that’s leading me on. You sat beside me in lecture/church/lab/bus therefore you led me on. Men/boys need better socialization.

Colin Firth will forever be indelibly linked in my mind as Mr. Darcy. This mini series was the best, by far, of any adaptation to Austen’s works. I’ve never cared for him in any other thing he has worked on, but that was a master class in character embodiment. ❣️❣️
