Today, on the anniversary of D-Day, we remember all of the American and Allied lives lost on Normandy's beaches. They are forever heroes and their efforts and sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Sergeant William Shemin distinguished himself by extraordinary acts of heroism at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving near Bazoches, France from August 7 to August 9, 1918.
Thank you to Volunteer Location Coordinator, Mel Russen, for sharing your video taken last Saturday in New Jersey just after the 366 Wreaths were placed in a light snow by a dozen helpers.
Today, on the anniversary of D-Day, we remember the bravery of the American troops who stormed the beach on that fateful day, especially those who never returned home.
