At a meeting of full council last night, the Labour administration were forced to vote in favour of a review of their decision. We will be following this up immediately and sharing the statistics from our poll.

Very worrying to see many many people say they simply won’t use the town centre as much. At an already very challenging time for local businesses this will threaten the survival of some, and the vibrancy of our town centre.

Many see this as a money grabbing exercise by the council. The lack of consultation led people to feel the council weren’t listening and are out of touch with the people of Worthing.
