To summarise: the Highland Council, the HCPC, the ICO and the SPSO all actively ignored what was happening to me. Not our business. Organisations protect themselves not the public. So, you’re right I didn’t go to GTC-S. My faith in using the ‘correct channels’ was diminished.

The Highland Council confirmed they breached my confidentiality. This was the reason they provided.

Special measures (the screen) were applied for in March 2025. I chose not oppose the application. As was evident from discussion in the hearing the purpose was to shield the witness from seeing me. I will not expand on his reasons as they are not mine to share.

1/ A finding that there is “no case to answer” is significant. This is a remedy that originates in the criminal division and it is tightly confined to cases where no properly directed jury could convict on the evidence. For a prosecution to fall at this stage is damning.
